Scion is a fun brand. The visual language is high energy, vibrant, and has strong ties to music and dj culture. My background as an electronic musician and early rave flyer designer gave me an unique opportunity to draw on early design experience to connect with a huge consumer audience.
The mission was to design expressive and engaging presentations of Scion’s vehicles and car culture, using the most advanced technology and technique — symbolic of the vision of the company and the brand.
Over several years, we designed annual versions of the main corporate site, product microsites, and various event-focused interactive promo sites. The team’s work was nominated for 2 Webbies, and a people's choice award, and several of the microsites spanned annual redesigns and content updates.
